MatrixCare Directions 2019 - Save The Date
Product News

MatrixCare for Senior Living has tools to help you tackle seasonal travel!

Sales & Marketing
Do you have an active prospect who you want to keep in touch with, but they will be away from home? Use the Seasonal Address feature to keep your mailing lists straight!

To enter the Seasonal Address, go to Sales & Marketing > Lead Center, and edit your prospect. Expand the Demographics tab to find the Seasonal Address tab. Here you can enter their alternate address, the dates they will be at the address, and whether they should receive mailing while there.

Billing & Census
If your resident will be out of the community for a period of time, you can use a Short Break to track their absence. The short break will remove the resident from physical census and optionally allows you to credit their care charges for the duration.

Start by going to Billing & Census > Short Breaks. Click the New button and select the resident. Enter the Start Date of the break, and the date you expect them to come back (don’t worry, you can update this later if it changes). Enter a short message about the reason for the break and click Get Fees. Select which fees to credit back, if desired, and then click Add Break to save!

Frequently Asked Questions and Helpful Tips

Using the Revenue and Collection Detail Report

The Revenue and Collection Detail report is used to see the detail associated with all or a specific GL code booked to on the Revenue Report. This report is typically used for reconciliation purposes to see the detail booked to a specific GL Code for a given month. One key feature is that the report is broken out by the area the entries originated from on the Revenue Report. This allows you to more easily review the details of the entries booked during the period.

To access this report, navigate to Reports > Accounting > Revenue and Collection Details. When arriving at the report it will default to the current posting month and will include all GL codes in the query.
