Frequently Asked Questions and Helpful Tips
Setting a User Password Expiration
You can easily enable password expiration for your users. Inside System Setup, under General > Home Office, you can set the Password Change Days to an interval of your choosing. Your employees will receive notifications beginning three days prior to expiration, at which point they will be forced to change the password if they have not already done so.
Using the Resident Billing Report
The Resident Billing Report allows you to pull what has been billed to all residents by GL code and fee name. This report is more commonly used to see revenue broken out by posting month and resident. It is also a key request for auditors to validate fees charged on invoices for a given community. Higher level excel users can use the data to create a pivot table and trend the fees charged to residents by posting month and community.
The Resident Billing Report can now be run for all communities with a few simple clicks. Navigate to Reports > Ops > Resident Billing Report. When arriving to the report, community name and a posting date range must be populated.
MatrixCare MyAnalytics Incident Tracking Now Available
Incident Tracking is a new feature that is now available in MyAnalytics for Senior Living. This new option for reporting and analysis of resident incidents enables nursing leadership to effectively analyze incident trends by region, home office, and care settings for discovery of potential problem areas. Incidents can be tracked by incident type for earlier identification of specific problems areas such as fall, infection, or skin issues. Monthly/yearly trending of incident details can support the monitoring of process improvement strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of intervention strategies.
Details of incidents are available such as incident dates, times, day of the week, incident location, and physician. Incidents resulting in state reporting, hospitalization or reassessments can be monitored, and incidents with high percentages of hospitalization can be targeted as areas of opportunities for improvement.
