Jonathan Lujan
Chief Executive Officer
Jonathan Lujan is the Chief Executive Officer of MatrixCare, where he leads the company’s strategy, operations, growth, and customer value. He brings extensive leadership experience across healthcare services and technology, with a track record of operational leadership, commercial transformation, and value creation. Jonathan combines deep healthcare expertise with a focus on building high-performing organizations, accelerating growth, and delivering solutions that improve outcomes for providers. Prior to joining MatrixCare, Jonathan served as Chief Executive Officer of Sight Growth Partners, where he led the company’s operational transformation and growth into one of the nation’s largest ophthalmology management organizations. Previously, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Lifeline Vascular Care at DaVita and held executive leadership roles at Surgical Information Systems, including Chief Growth Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategy. Earlier in his career, Jonathan held leadership positions at GE Healthcare and J.P. Morgan’s Healthcare Investment Banking Group. Jonathan holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, and a B.S. in Management Information Systems from the University at Albany.
Brad Wensel
Chief Customer Officer
Brad Wensel is the Chief Customer Officer of MatrixCare, where he leads the company’s end-to-end customer lifecycle and operations, focused on helping customers achieve meaningful outcomes while driving satisfaction, retention, and growth. He brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across healthcare, technology, customer experience, and business transformation, with a track record of partnering with healthcare organizations to adopt new technologies, navigate transformation, and improve operational and customer outcomes. Prior to MatrixCare, Brad served as Chief Customer and Transformation Officer at Iodine Software, where he led Customer Success, Implementation, Support, Clinical Services, Customer Operations, and enterprise transformation through a period of significant growth and the company’s acquisition by Waystar. Previously, Brad held leadership roles at Amazon Web Services and served as Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at Healthgrades, where his work spanned customer experience and operations, strategic partnerships, growth, and healthcare technology transformation. Brad holds a dual MBA from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management and TIAS School for Business and Society in the Netherlands, as well as a BSBA from Duquesne University.
Tony DiGiorgio
Chief Technology Officer
Tony DiGiorgio is the Chief Technology Officer of MatrixCare, where he leads engineering, architecture, cloud infrastructure, data, security, operations, and IT across a global organization. He brings decades of technology leadership experience building AI-first engineering organizations and scaling enterprise SaaS platforms in regulated, private equity-backed markets, with a track record of connecting technology strategy to business growth and long-term value. At MatrixCare, Tony is leading the company’s enterprise AI strategy, including an AI-DLC framework designed for regulated environments. Prior to MatrixCare, Tony served as Chief Architect at symplr and TractManager, where he helped transform a healthcare SaaS business into a leading enterprise platform, driving significant growth, scaling engineering, and leading integration across multiple acquisitions. Earlier in his career, he held technology leadership roles with IBM Watson Health, Phytel, and Elation Health. Tony was inducted into the IBM Academy of Technology and holds multiple awarded patents across healthcare analytics, software architecture, and patient risk management.
Darcy Smith
Chief People Officer
Darcy Smith is the Chief People Officer of MatrixCare, where she leads the company’s people strategy, organizational effectiveness, talent, culture, and teammate experience. She brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience across healthcare, technology, and high-growth, private equity-backed organizations, with a track record of building scalable organizations and aligning talent strategy with business performance. Prior to MatrixCare, Darcy served as Chief People Officer of private-equity backed Compass Surgical Partners and Custom Ink, where she led significant organizational growth, transformation, and talent initiatives. Earlier in her career, she held senior HR leadership roles with Highmark Health and Davis Vision. Darcy holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Le Moyne College and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the University at Buffalo.
Scott M. Harrington
Chief Transformation Officer
Scott Harrington is Chief Transformation Officer at MatrixCare, where he leads our transformation by developing the capabilities, leadership bench, and ways of working to support our next phase of growth. He is a capability builder and an energetic leader of people who works with his sleeves rolled up alongside executives and their teams. Scott brings a forward-looking view of human-machine teaming: how people and AI work together in the modern workplace. Scott combines transformation and growth experience from both public and private companies, including private equity- and venture-backed businesses where he has served as an operating executive and as a hands-on operating partner to investors and their portfolio companies. His work has spanned digital transformation, post-merger integration, and organizational scale-ups. He built his consulting foundation at McKinsey & Company, where he co-founded the firm’s Implementation Group to bridge strategy and execution. Scott further honed his transformation toolkit in leadership roles at institutions such as Bridgewater Associates during periods of pivotal change. He began his career as a U.S. Army officer and AH-64D Apache pilot, commanding aviation units in combat. He is a graduate of West Point and holds an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Allison Rainey
Head of Nursing and Clinical Informatics
As our Head of Nursing and Clinical Informatics, Allison Rainey oversees the deployment of clinical technologies. As a Registered Nurse and License Family Practitioner, Allison drives a caregiver-first approach in our products, collaborating closely with product leaders to ensures our products and services prioritize the needs and challenges faced by healthcare providers. By aligning workflows, designs, and overall product strategy, Allison strives to offer the most user-friendly, clinically superior, and efficient suite of comprehensive solutions in the industry. Allison brings extensive post-acute care experience from her 20-year tenure at NHC, one the largest publicly traded Senior Care providers in the U.S. She is a seasoned leader in population health management strategy, clinical reporting and analytics development, and inpatient hospital care. In her most recent role as AVP of Clinical Information Technology, she oversaw the deployment and utilization of various clinical technologies, including the MatrixCare EHR, across the extensive NHC network. Allison holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from the University of Tennessee.
Eugene Kim
General Counsel
Eugene Kim is General Counsel of MatrixCare, where he provides strategic legal guidance and counsel across the company’s operations and business activities. He brings nearly two decades of legal experience advising companies and business leaders on complex legal matters, with a focus on providing practical, strategic counsel that supports business objectives and enables sustainable growth. Eugene joins MatrixCare from Open Text Inc., a global ECM and EDI software company, where he led teams supporting Enterprise Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and the Engineering business units. He also served as Partner at Novak Druce Connolly Bove + Quigg LLP where he focused on patent and trademark litigation. Prior to his time at Novak Druce Connolly Bove + Quigg LLP, Eugene held in-house counsel roles at GEICO and InPhonic, Inc. Eugene earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Washington.
Tim Smokoff
Board Advisor
Tim is a Board Advisor to MatrixCare, providing strategic guidance and counsel to the company’s leadership team. Most recently, he served as General Manager of MatrixCare, where he oversaw the company’s strategic direction and operational execution, with a focus on delivering customer value and fostering a high-performing, customer-centered culture. Prior to MatrixCare, Tim served in leadership roles at world-leading tech and IT companies including Intel and Microsoft, with both U.S. and global customers. He also concurrently served on Microsoft’s Corporate Development Team and as a member of its Corporate Bench Program for senior leadership development. He joined Microsoft after serving as a Senior Director, Enterprise Server Group, at Intel Corp., Vice President of Development with Physician Microsoft Systems, and product developer and engineer at SpaceLabs Medical Inc. In each role, Tim focused on advancing healthcare operations, driving profit and loss success, building, and expanding business potential, and directing large-scale acquisitions. As a recognized healthcare leader with more than 25 years of technical experience in software solutions, Tim has achieved extensive success in advancing data-driven technology solutions, managing go-to-market strategy and solutions, and fostering strategic innovation. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, from the University of Washington.
